Παντελής Θαλασσινός / Pantelis Thalassinos

Mathias Streitweiser is a well known Greek-Israeli model who has graced the pages of many fashion magazines [and this blog's pages...heck I don't think anyone minds these kind of repeats...this boy is drop dead gorgeous!] and has joined the league of the super male models. Mathias [also Matthias and Matthaios] is Greek and Hebrew in origin and literally means "Gift of God"....I can't argue with that !

REGARDING BILLY
The holidays are always a time to spend time with family and to catch up on some movies that I've missed out on...One of the movies I saw was the film "Regarding Billy" which is well acted and definitely leaves the viewer moved. Like I've stressed before, we need more gay themed films and series on television to lift the stereotype that unfortunately has been stamped on the gay entertainment industry, internet and the like ...that being sex and nudity. There's none of that in this film. Definitely worth watching if you like watching something with a plot. The following is a Sypnosis/Review of the film. Billy and Dean
My Warmest Christmas Wishes to All.

A Note to my friends...thanks for your mail...as I've told a few of you..I've been working out of town so I haven't been in Athens. "Home" is truly a very special place for all of us in our hearts whether we live in a village, a town or a metropolitan city home to millions such as mine. While England was truly a wonderful host country to me and my fellow colleagues, when I saw Athens all made up for Christmas with all the main boulevards and avenues made up with Xmas decorations, colorful lights lighting even the remotest neighborhood street, people bustling to and from their shopping, I knew I was home in this vibrant city called Athens. For those of you that haven't lived it, Athens is a city that most people don't get to know unless they live it. Many get a quick tour of a densely populated urban center that is congested, noisy and unbearably hot. While that is true in July with an extra three million visitors, one still doesn't see the city outside the historic center with its archeological sites, museums and the like. Athens is a city that residents are still discovering as they have lived here all their lives. The city constantly surprises her residents with them discovering a new club, pub or taverna...a gallery or a cafe with the most serene vista that makes you forget you are in the midst of several million other people. The color and music, the aroma and tastes of the city are truly unique to those that discover them. I took a walk last night on the pebbled walkway just below the Parthenon on a beautiful moonlit night only to discover a beautiful little cafe that lured us there with its aroma, the sound of its music and the color of Christmas. While we were in close proximity of the center, We felt we were miles from it all!!! A beautiful night indeed. If you ever make it here...Stay off the beaten track and discover "Athens".
