Just as a stapler will bind paper, love will bind people.

Just as a boat will not float in a dry riverbed,
love will not float in a dry heart.

Love is the thread that holds together the fabric of a partnership.

Love is the axis upon which a good love relationship spins.

Love can still be the sunrise in the twilight of a person's life.

A first love always remains in a secret place in the heart.

Blossoming in the sunshine of your love
My heart goes out to be closer to you
I will never get you out of my head
Thinking of you and feeling red

For one human being to love another that is perhaps the most difficult of our tasks; the ultimate, the last test and proof; the work for which all other work is but preparation.

Spring is in the air...there is a scent in the air...
the scent of the man of my dreams...
Love is the expansion of two natures in such fashion
that each include the other,
each is enriched by the other.

Endless Summer

It feels like paradise
The world is closing in
It feels so right
I start to fantasize
'Bout what we're getting in
Cuz now your mine
This is our time
It's an endless summer
Boy I want you close to me
In an endless summer
We'll make love and we'll be free
It's an endless summer
Boy I want you close to me
In an endless summer
Now it's time for you and me
Endless summer
My heart beats stronger
Now you're by my side
I'll hold you tight
Please let me show you
How we'll grab a ray of light
'Cause now you're mine
This is our time
Endless summer;
boy I want you close to me
In an endless summer;
we'll make love and we'll be free
Its an endless summer;
boy I want you close to me
In an endless summer;
now it's time for you and me
Endless summer
In an endless summer
now it's time for you and me
Endless summer

Love is the emblem of eternity:
it confounds all notion of time:
effaces all memory of a beginning,
all fear of an end.

Bright Star
Bright star,
would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening chest,
To feel for ever its hardened rodges and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear his tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death.
John Keats

My Soul Mate
In Dreams I search for a timeless Love
Without boundaries bestowed below or above.
Our eyes meet, we embrace again and again,
No words ever spoken from beginning to end.
I feel you as if we're two halves of one whole
In the company of Peace, you feed my Soul.
I awaken from sleep with you in my Heart
Disguising my Truths until daylight departs.
In this life we may never completely reside
In a home with children at each of our sides.
Still, I feel a Love so fully Divine
That I know we'll continue through Space, Age and Time.

You're Like A Dream

You're like a dream,

heaven found in the blue seas.

You took my hand,

and shared with me what I could not see.

You took my hand,

and showed me what life should be.

You're like a dream,

wind waving in the green trees.

You're like the rain,

embracing the world with a gentle.

You gave me your heart,

when I could not give much

You gave me your heart,

when I could only offer tears and such.

You're like the rain,

awakening the flowers from their slumbering slouch.

You're like the wind,

echoing waves across stormy waters.

You showed me hope,

when I felt so much smaller.

You showed me hope,

when the pieces wouldn't fit together.

You're like the wind,

soothing as morning dew in the summer.

You're like heaven,

so enticing in golden honor.

You loved me,

even when my words were as harsh as armor

You're like heaven,

delivering dreams to all the dreamers.

You're like a dream . . .

Bitterness imprisons life;
love releases it.
Bitterness paralyzes life;
love empowers it.
Bitterness sours life;
love sweetens it.
Bitterness sickens life;
love heals it.
Bitterness blinds life;
love anoints its eyes."

Sarbel: Greece's entrant for Eurovision 2007

Biography

Early life

Born and raised in London, England, to a Greek Cypriot father, Elias, himself a singer/bouzouki player famous in England for many years, and a Lebanese mother, Sarbel's family often made frequent trips to Greece and Cyprus during the summer season. Sarbel studied music (voice), drama, and performing arts at university. From the age of 5 to 16 he performed at the English National Opera and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and has recorded Tosca in English for Chandos Recordings as the shepherd boy. His name is technically pronounced 'Sharbel', but since the Greek alphabet lacks a 'sh' sound, it is pronounced 'Sarbel' (transliteration of 'Σαρμπέλ').

Music career

At 18, looking for some change in his life for his gap year, Sarbel went to Crete, where he sang at the Heraklion Palladium. [2]. At the age of 21, still living on the Greek island of Crete since his gap year, he was signed on by Sony BMG (Greece) on a six-year recording contract. By the next year, Sarbel had hit the Greek, Cypriot, and Arabic music scene and gained a very popular status as a singer and sex symbol, particularly among his male fans.

Shake it up, shake it up, there you go
Oh oh! Yassou Maria
Turn around, bring it down, go slow
heads up, lord have mercy
Shake it up, shake it up, there you go
Oh oh! Yassou Maria
Ay ay ay there she goes... Maria

Yassou Maria(Greeklish version)

Na'ti pou pernaei kai peftei panikos

Spring and love are much the same.
New love brings a new game.
One day it's sunny and so warm,
Then love and spring bring a storm.
You rest on beaches holding your lovers hand,
Then a huge wind blows and covers you up in sand.
You can enjoy the warmth and laughter in the air,
But then it's cold and your lover isn't there.
But if you stick through it,
And you both do your bit.
Summer will come full of sun,
And you will see, that life is full of fun.

A Clear Midnight
THIS is thy hour O Soul,
thy free flight into the wordless,
Away from books,
away from art,
the day erased,
the lesson done,
Thee fully forth emerging,
silent,
gazing,
pondering the themes thou lovest best.
Night,
sleep,
and the stars.
Walt Whitman

I Love You

by EW Wilcox

I Love You

I love your lips when they're wet with wine
And red with a wild desire;
I love your eyes when the love
light lies Lit with a passionate fire.
I love your arms when the warm white flesh
Touches mine in a fond embrace;
I love your kisses against my face.
Give me the love that so freely gives
And laughs at the whole world's blame,
With your body so young and warm in my arms,
It sets my poor heart aflame.
kiss me sweet with your warm wet mouth,
Still fragrant from this evening's red wine,
And say that you, your body, and soul are mine.
Clasp me close in your warm young arms,
While the pale stars shine above,
And we'll live our whole lives away
In the joys of a living Love.

Here I Love You
by Pablo Neruda
Here I love you.
In the dark pines the wind disentangles itself.
The moon glows like phosphorous on the vagrant waters.
Days, all one kind, go chasing each other.
The snow unfurls in dancing figures.
A silver gull slips down from the west.
Sometimes a sail.
High, high stars.
Oh the black cross of a ship.
Alone.
Sometimes I get up early and even my soul is wet.
Far away the sea sounds and resounds.
This is a port.
Here I love you.
Here I love you and the horizon hides you in vain.
I love you still among these cold things.
Sometimes my kisses go on those heavy vessels
that cross the sea towards no arrival.
I see myself forgotten like those old anchors.
The piers sadden when the afternoon moors there.
My life grows tired, hungry to no purpose.
I love what I do not have.
You are so far.My loathing wrestles with the slow twilights.
But night comes and starts to sing to me.
The moon turns its clockwork dream.
The biggest stars look at me with your eyes.
And as I love you, the pines in the wind
want to sing your name with their leaves of wire.
